CAWST’s WASH Capacity Accelerator is making a difference

At CAWST, we know that global commitments only matter when they lead to real change. That is why we launched the WASH Capacity Accelerator, an initiative grounded in years of experience strengthening local water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) capacity around the world.

The WASH Capacity Accelerator makes real change possible by investing in local expertise so water and sanitation solutions continue to work long after projects end.

This supports progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, clean water and sanitation, by building the knowledge, skills and confidence of frontline WASH practitioners. Through practical training, digital tools, mentorship and peer learning, organizations are better equipped to deliver high quality, locally appropriate solutions that last.

In Kisii, Kenya, a CAWST-led learning exchange demonstrates how a global pledge can translate into meaningful local action and momentum for change.
