On February 6, in collaboration with CIP International, UEnd Foundation, and UNA-Canada, ACGC is publishing a special section of the Calgary Herald and Edmonton Journal. The objective is to raise awareness of important work being done by Albertan organizations and individuals who are working locally and globally to achieve sustainable human development and reduced global poverty.
Read about the amazing work being done and personalities behind ACGC member organizations around the province. Find out how working at the U of A's Global Education Program changed one student’s business when he moved back to Malaysia, why Sombrilla volunteers risked life and limb for humanitarian work in Central America, and what Calgary youth are doing to become leaders in water issues.
This project is one of the ACGC projects marking this year’s International Development Week, running February 3-9, 2013. Look for this special section in subscriber copies of your newspaper, or contact ACGC to get your own copy!
