We have heard from most of our partners in country, many of which are doing their best to support the people in need.
CAWST focuses on the long term support to Haitiens through building capacity of local and international organizations to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people. Many of our partner organizations in country, such as Clean Water for Haiti (CWH) and Pure Water for Haiti (PWH) have shifted their work and are providing help where they can.

The Canadian Government has committed to a matching of $50 million in donations for organizations dedicated to earthquake relief. As our work is focused on capacity building and training, we do not fall under the criteria; however, CAWST continues to receive funds from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), for our Water Expertise Training Centre in Haiti.
